Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DueVana iOS app and the duevana.com website (the “Services”). These pages are operated by the operator of duevana.com. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of duevana.com. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

This page is a plain-language EULA-style description for the website. It is not legal advice and has not been certified by counsel. Purchases in the iOS app are also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

1. What DueVana is

DueVana is a personal planning tool that estimates when cash may run out based on bills, income, and a cash buffer you enter manually. Projections are computed on your device. It is a Finance app for cash-runway planning. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. It is not a bank, lender, broker, or certified financial planner. It does not connect to financial institutions or display live bank balances. You are responsible for verifying amounts with your own accounts and qualified professionals, and for decisions you make.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian’s consent where required). The Services are not directed to children under 13.

3. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the iOS app (as downloaded from the App Store) and this website. You agree not to copy or reverse-engineer the app except as allowed by law, interfere with the Services, use them unlawfully, or present DueVana as financial advice, a bank feed, guaranteed balances, or a substitute for your statements.

4. Your content and accuracy

Bills, income, buffer, scenarios, and Ask questions you enter stay on your device by default. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. The break date and runway chart are mathematical projections — not guarantees of future balances. Optional Premium iCloud sync, if you turn it on, uses your private iCloud as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your ledger entries.

5. In-app purchases

DueVana may be used without a subscription (manual bills, one income source, a four-week runway, and related Free features). Optional Premium features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple (StoreKit). Current US reference prices published on this website: $7.99 per month and $59.99 per year. Apple shows the live price, period, and auto-renew terms on the paywall before you purchase. Payment, billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and the Standard EULA. Manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Restore purchases from Settings → Manage Subscription in the app, or from the paywall.

We do not receive your full payment card number. Website prices are a US reference and may differ by territory. Apple’s paywall is authoritative. Product features available on Free vs Premium are described in the app and may change with notice in release notes.

6. Optional iCloud Continuity

Premium subscribers may opt in to Private iCloud Continuity to sync ledger data to their iCloud account. Continuity is optional and off by default. Sync availability depends on iCloud sign-in, network conditions, and Apple CloudKit services. Continuity is provided as-is.

7. Apple

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these website Terms and is not responsible for the Services except as required by Apple’s own rules. These Terms are between you and the operator of duevana.com, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for DueVana. DueVana is an iOS app; we do not currently offer an Android app, Apple Watch app, or Mac app.

8. Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Projections assume the accuracy and completeness of data you enter and scheduled events as modeled by the app. We do not warrant that projections are error-free or that the app will be uninterrupted. Do not rely on DueVana as a substitute for your bank statements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or financial outcomes arising from your use of the Services or reliance on projections. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Check duevana.com/terms for the current version.
